The former Italian Under 21 international arrives on a two year deal with the New Zealand based A-league club as they look to challenge for a top 6 position and finals for the upcoming A-league season.
The 28 year old defender is well traveled in Serie A having played for Bari, Parma and Sampdoria among others and recently completed a season in Serie B with Perugia making 23 appearances. Furthermore he also represented Italy at under-17, under-19, under-20 and under-21 levels.

Additionally he was suspended for 20 months for his knowledge of match fixing while on loan at Bari from Parma in 2012.
He will join a growing number of Italian players who have played in the A-league with such as Benito Carbone, Alex Del Piero, Federico Piovaccari, and Iacopo La Rocca who recently won the A-League title with Adelaide United.
