The Slovakian’s father reveals his son did not receive any offer from the Bundesliga champions and that he could spend the rest of is career at Napoli.
Marek Hamsik has never been shy about proclaiming his desire to stay at Napoli. Offers have come and gone yet the Slovakian midfielder still remains a resident in the South of Italy. In a recent interview with Slovakian media outlet Pluska, Marek’s father, Richard Hamsik, spoke about his son’s willingness to continue his career at Napoli and stated that no offer has been presented from Bayern Munich:
It would certainly be difficult to turn down such an important club but at the moment, no offer has come in from the Germans. We must now meet with the President to understand what to do but his heart is entirely in Naples. He will be offered an economically richer contract. Marek’s preference is to remain at Napoli. Should my son sign, he could stay here for the rest of his life. If the contrary happens, we will see if something else different comes about.
