Juventus’ sporting director Giuseppe Marotta cooled all the speculation over Paulo Dybala’s future and the recent Real Madrid rumours.
There has been plenty of speculation over where the Argentine’s immediate future lies with rumours of an agreed move to Real Madrid circulating in Spain. However, according to tuttomercatoweb.com, Giuseppe Marotta took time to speak to journalists following Juve’s official unveiling of latest signing, Tomas Rincon, to address his thoughts on the club’s January business including that of Dybala.
“Right now we are happy with the squad that we have. We are covered in all departments, we also have a 100% recovered Marchisio. Dybala? With him we have an excellent relationship, we are in the process of negotiations for a renewal which he deserves for what has been done. There is no problem, for he is proud to wear our shirt.”
Dybala has slowly returned to action in December with the bianconeri following the thigh muscle injury in their 1-0 defeat to Milan back in October, which subsequently kept him out for the entire month of November. Having reportedly already turned down an offer for their diminutive star from Barcelona, news of a renewal for Dybala would not only be a signal of intent on the European stage for Juve but it will also be music to the Old Lady faithful’s ears.
