With both clubs entering Week 26 with third place just within reach, there is sure to be an exciting match at the Stadio Olimpico.
Only one point separates Lazio and Fiorentina going into Monday evening and a win for either side could see them overtake the third spot in the table.
Sitting only two points behind Napoli for third place, Lazio is coming off of three straight wins in Serie A and will look to continue their momentum into third place. Lazio are without a win in their last two appearances, but historically speaking, the biancocelesti have only fallen twice out of their last eleven fixtures against Fiorentina.
Lazio is still without their top scorer, Stefano Mauri and their regista Marco Parolo is suspended due to his number of yellow cards.
Coming off the high from sweeping Juventus 2-1 at home in the Coppa Italia semi-final – the bianconeri first home loss in 47 matches – Fiotentina have been on an impressive streak recently. The viola 1-0 win against Inter in week 25 action put them three points apart from Napoli who sits in third place.
Coach Vincenzo Montella is also being rumored to replace Filippo Inzaghi at Milan, but has reassured fans that he will remain with Fiorentina next season. Montella’s contract lasts until June 2017, but even then, he can’t let the rumors distract his side on match-day.
Fiorentina are without Alberto Aquilani this week, who is serving a one-match ban, also due to his amount of yellow cards.

Anderson has been a fantastic young talent in Serie A this year. At just 21, he already has 7 goals to his name this season. The trequarista was also recognized in Goal.com team of the week following his sensational goal against Sassuolo.
Fiorentina – Mohamed Salah
The winger has been impressive since arriving on loan from Chelsea. He scored twice against Juve in the Coppa Italia semi-final earlier this week, already having three goals in four appearances.
