On Sunday, AC Milan returned to winning ways as Giacomo Bonaventura’s decisive free-kick saw the Rossoneri collect all three points at home.

Here is how we rated the individual performances of the Rossoneri on Sunday.

Gianluigi Donnarumma (8.0): Gigio was on top of his game today. Made a few crucial saves with one he tipped over the bar like he did last week versus Juventus. Pescara were relentless today and Milan needed Donnarumma to secure all three points. A clean sheet well earned.

Ignazio Abate (7.5): Another good performance from the speedy fullback. He proves how much better we can be defensively with him there rather than Andrea Poli at right back.

Gustavo Gomez (7.5): A nice, solid match from Gustavo. He won several aerial duels and kept it clean at the back.

Alessio Romagnoli (7.5): Same for Alessio, a solid match from the young star. Didn’t give the Pescara players too much room.

Mattia De Sciglio (7.0): Impressive from MDS today. He was calm on the ball and pushed up the field well. Also executed a few key tackles late to help Milan see off the match.

Jose Sosa (6.5): After a quiet 1st half, he came alive in the 2nd. Sosa was on the ball more, made some nice runs and nice looks.

Manuel Locatelli (7.0): Locatelli put in a great 90 minutes today. Perfect regista match, was calm on the ball and made some key tackles/clearances. Earning his spot for more starts.

Giacomo Bonaventura (8.5 MOTM): Bonaventura was crucial today. Looked way better in the 2nd half, but his under the wall free-kick was a masterclass. Great game from the Azzurri man.

Suso (6.5): Suso had himself a pretty decent 90 minutes. Controlled the ball well on the right wing, had a few shots on net and threaded a few nice through balls.

Carlos Bacca (6): Carlitos was not on today. He didn’t touch the ball that much, but still hit the post on a quality chance. He also was very upset at Montella for his 85th minute substitution. Bacca will look to break this slump next round.

M’Baye Niang (6): Feeling under the weather, Niang was subpar today. He touched the ball quite a bit, making a few nice runs and got around some defenders. Definitely a match he wants to improve on, however.

Mario Pasalic (6.5): On his debut for Milan, Pasalic was calm on the ball. He tracked back and had a shot on net. Good showing and perhaps Montella will look his way more often after his cameo.

Juraj Kucka (7.0): Didn’t play for too long, but the reason he gets a 7 is because of a few crucial tackles he made late and his ability of getting up the field.

Luiz Adriano (6.5): He replaced Bacca late to kill off the game, and did very well. Luiz held the ball up in Pescara’s territory and wasted some valuable time.
