Roma tied Cagliari 2-2 in the second week of Serie A following goal from Perotti and Strootman.

Wojciech Szczesny (6) – Could’ve done better with a few chances but overall did well to keep Cagliari from winning this game as they had a lot of opportunities.

Bruno Peres (6) – Looked solid his first time playing with the team, got forward a lot and took several shots as well as making a few dangerous crosses.

Kostas Manolas (5.5) – Looked unorganized and sloppy in the back along with the rest of the defenders.

Thomas Vermaelen (5.5) – Started off strong but once Cagliari started testing the defense flaws became noticeable as Vermaelen looked inconsistent and lost in the back.

Alessandro Florenzi (7) – Solid play both defensively and pushing the ball forward.

Daniele De Rossi  (7) – Solid play in the midfield, did a good job of dictating the pace and facilitating.

Kevin Strootman (7.5) – Looked solid in the midfield, scored an important goal and had a few key passes.

Radja Nainggolan  (6) – Got into some pretty good spots and did a good job of getting forward and linking up with Salah, had a few shots but nothing too dangerous.

Stephan El Shaarawy (7) – Looked good getting forward and really utilized his pace to get the ball in dangerous spots, but overall didn’t get too many opportunities before being subbed off after halftime.

Mohamed Salah (6) – Did a good job getting forward but didn’t make the right decisions in the end, blew a couple of chances he couldve done better with.

Diego Perotti (7) – Solid play, got into dangerous areas and did a good job of converting the first penalty.

Edin Dzeko (7.5) – Got involved right away after getting subbed on by providing an assist for Strootman just seconds after coming in.

Leandro Paredes (6) – Didn’t play much, when subbed on the team was in defensive mode where Paredes couldn’t get involved.

Federico Fazio (5) – Didn’t add anything to the defense. Fazio was subbed on for Perotti to go to a defensive mode, but ultimately didn’t contribute anything as Cagliari got the equalizer anyways.
