Watford are looking to make upgrades to the team’s midfield this summer.
After recently announcing ex-Inter and Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri as their new manager, Premier League club Watford are ready to do some shopping in the Serie A.
As The Watford Observer reported earlier today, the Hornets are very close to signing Juve midfielder Roberto Pereyra. Pereira enjoyed only 13 League appearances last season, mostly because of injury, while latest signing Miralem Pjanic should further limit his chances to feature for Juve. The Argentine is officially for sale and Premier League might be a good option for him to play first team football again.
The English team, owned by the Pozzo family, is ready to pay up to €15 million to Juventus to bring Pereyra to London.
Pereyra was purchased by Juventus in 2014 for roughly €15 million.
