Following Milan’s late win against Cagliari, match hero Carlos Bacca spoke to Premium Sport regarding the Rossoneri’s first win of the 2017 calendar year.
“I’m happy, I have worked a lot for this goal. I’ve always given my all on the field, even when I don’t score. Thanks to God the goal came. The team, coach, and the fans’ help is important.”
The Colombian international on his future with the club:
“I feel like a part of the project, I came here to take Milan (back) to Europe, I do not want to leave.”
Bacca scored his first goal in 595 minutes of action. He has tallied up a total of seven goals this season and will look to increase that count as Milan continue to push for a spot amongst the top five.
