Milan’s forward was interviewed by SKY SPORT, during the ceremony for the 10th anniversary of the Milan Foundation. Balotelli answered the critics about his character and rumours on his future.
“This is an important night for Milan and its foundation, we are happy to be here and participate. I am a good boy, common as all the others, though I am in a situation in which I am not allowed to be normal. In this surrounding you always have to be a man, perfect and up to the expectations, and you cannot do what your peers do, what is considered normal for the boys of my same age. I have always everyone’s eyes on me, but I don’t care.”
He goes on. “Improving? Where? My personality is fine, I am quiet guy and I am not like I was in the past anymore. There is nothing to change. When I had the mohawk everybody copied me, now I have cut it and who knows if the others will follow me again.”
“It has been 4-5 matches since I scored and when a forward doesn’t score, things are not fine at all. However goal will come, even because I have played good matches though I didn’t score.”
On the national team “Italian should always say Italy will win, I really cannot see why the say that other national teams will!”
He concludes then on his future. “Future? Ask Emis (the Italian rapper Emis Killa), I have told him everything. I don’t think to the far future, I only think about what comes next and about Genoa. I am part of Milan and I am happy to be here”
