AC Milan and Inter Milan are both expressing interest in Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Bernardeschi has blossomed into a promising, young football player and has opened the eyes of different clubs. Both Milan clubs may battle it out to see who can pry the young Italian away from Fiorentina.
However, the Viola seem unwilling to sell the player.
The 22 year-old has been a part of the Italian national team starting in 2011 with the U18 squad. Bernardeschi has worked all the way to the senior Azzurri team and has seven caps.
The Nazionale awarded Bernardeschi the caps based on his versatility and his continued production at the club level. Bernardeschi has scored four goals and recorded one assist in 11 total appearances for Fiorentina in the Serie A this season. He can play many midfield positions and can also play at the right-wing position.
Milan and Inter will continue to monitor Bernardeschi. No signs point to a sale any time soon, but the Milan clubs are ready to bring the player in from the transfer market.
