AC Milan have reportedly given up their chase for Alessio Cerci today as the Torino winger is now setting his sights on a move to the Premier League.
Despite adding Jeremy Menez from Paris Saint-Germain, Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi is still looking to improve the depth and quality of his squad after losing Robinho, Kaka, Alessandro Matri, Valter Birsa and Adel Taarabt this summer.
According to a report by Tuttosport, Milan have ended their interest in Cerci after Torino President Urbano Cairo, refused to lower his €2o million price tag.
The 27-year-old Azzurri international is reportedly looking to move to England, with the likes of Arsenal and Everton reportedly interested. Meanwhile, La Liga side Atletico Madrid are also reportedly considering a move for him.
Cerci guided the Granata to a place in the UEFA Europa League last season netting thirteen goals and providing ten assists in his thirty seven appearances in Serie A.
