The Rossoneri’s ongoing midfield revolution continues after landing Sosa.
First Sosa, next Fernando? According to Gazzetta dello Sport, that’s where Milan are heading. The club is bringing in some South American flair with Besiktas’ Sosa, who also played at Napoli and Bayern in the past.
But what about Manchester City’s Fernando? The 29-year-old center midfielder is at the fringes of Guardiola’s plans for the new season. While the Brazilian still has 3 more years on his contract with the Citizens, Milan could try to land him on a loan to buy deal.
The Chinese consortium who purchased Milan last week allowed the club to buy Sosa for €7.5 million, but aren’t likely to allow much more spending until the final closing, which is slated for December.
Milan’s reconstruction of the midfield could see Andrea Poli kicked out, as according to GdS, Torino are interested in his services.
