Milan Manager Gennaro Gattuso believes that his Rossoneri need three or four new players in the summer and makes it clear that Giacomo Bonaventura isn’t going anywhere.
Rumours have started to emerge that Bonaventura is a primary target for Juventus but also that the Diavolo are going to overhaul the attack as none of Nikola Kalinić, André Silva or Patrick Cutrone are scoring regularly.
Gattuso discussed this in his Pre-Match Press Conference earlier today.
“In order to improve this team, we need three or four players. We’re young, and spirit and mentality are needed to raise the bar here, as well as lads who are used to a certain standard.
“Bonaventura has a contract and he’s never told me that he wants to leave. I know his renewal is being discussed.
“Kalinić is someone who I talk to every day and I have a wonderful relationship with everyone.
“I get along with everyone, but sometimes responsibility must be taken, we must remember what shirt we wear and that victory and defeat aren’t the same.
“When you lose, it must burn you. After my decision to play him, everything went well with Nikola.
“He always trains with great professionalism, plus he practices his shooting after training, so I’m happy with how he behaves.
“We’re lacking goals from our strikers, it’s true, so let’s put them in a position to score”.
