The Rossoneri announced publicly their intentions to keep Suso in Milano no matter what.
Over on the club’s official website, Milan took the time to address possible departures from the club in January, none of which included the highly-linked Spaniard.
“When it comes to Suso, Milan has been very clear: ‘we’re not selling you not ever for an offer of €80 million,’ which has become an inside joke for the Spaniard, who renewed his contract with us last month in December.
“[For us] it is a very important extension. All the other players mentioned today from Biglia to Kalinic to Locatelli will remain.”
Manuel Locatelli had been linked with a loan move to Genoa but that appears to either be delayed or canceled. Milan are still in three competitions and squad depth could come into play in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Suso has scored seven goals and assisted another nine in 21 matches this season, making one of Milan’s biggest contributors.
