The rossoneri are edging closer to locking up their start defender Alessio Romagnoli for 5 more seasons.
According to Premium Sport, Milan are very eager in securing the the 23 year old services for another five seasons. There is rumoured to be a reported meeting this month between the two parties. The goal is to reach an agreement until the 2023 season with the annual salary being between 3.5-4 million a season.
The Italian defender has been supreme for the rossoneri this season and has earned a new contract with the club. He has sparkled since the arrival of new coach Gennaro Gattuso and is truly living up to his potential.
Having formed a concrete partnership with club captain Leonardo Bonucci, Milan have seemingly found their center back pairing for the foreseeable future.
