A.C. Milan are ready to extend 17-year old star keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after a splendid debut season in the Italian top-flight.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Rossoneri are set to offer Gianluigi Donnarumma a new contract after a spectacular season in goal for the red and black club. Adriano Galliani has reportedly reached out to the teenager’s agent Mino Raiola to begin talks on a new deal to keep Gigio with the Lombard club for the long-term.
Former manager Siniša Mihajlović replaced Diego Lopez with Donnarumma early in the 2015-16 campaign after the Spaniard ran into a rough spell for Milan. Since Donnarumma made his well-publicized debut against Sassuolo, the 17-year old impressed all across Italy, showing confidence and maturity in net. Donnarumma is considered untouchable by Milan brass and they intend to make that clear with a rewarding extension.
