AC Milan has targeted Everton’s Gerard Deulofeu as help for Vincenzo Montella’s attack.
The rossoneri have offered the Toffees a loan deal with an option to buy for Gerard Deulofeu, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. However, Roma recently made a similar offer which the English club rejected.
Everton’s potential replacement for the winger could be Charlton Atheltic forward, Ademola Lookman. While it appears that Ronald Koeman has a replacement lined up, Milan awaits an answer from the Premier League club for the Spaniard.
Deulofeu has yet to score in the current Premier League season in just 11 appearances. In the 2015/2016 season, Deulofeu scored two goals and recorded eight assists for the Toffees, but now appears to be a non-factor for Koeman moving forward.
Milan and Vincenzo Montella desperately need to improve its attack. With Luiz Adriano one foot out the door towards Russia, Deulofeu could be his replacement as a means to fulfill the winger objective.
