Despite Everton’s initial negative response, Adriano Galliani is still pursuing Gerard Deulofeu, one of Milan’s main objectives for January.
The Toffees have firmly denied the possibility of Deulofeu moving to Milan on a dry loan. Although this was the preferred option for Galliani, the Milan CEO is, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, thinking about proposing a loan with option to buy.
This option would appear as a good compromise – it would give Everton the possibility of making a profit and it wouldn’t overly bind the incoming Milan Chinese owners, who can currently veto any incoming and outgoing transfers.
The feeling is that the rossoneri are genuinely interested in the Spaniard, and seem prepared to make somewhat an effort to bring the 22 year-old winger to Milano this January.
