AC Milan’s match-winner Gianluca Lapadula spoke to Premium Sport after the Rossoneri came away from the San Siro victorious, narrowly defeating Crotone 2-1.
Gianluca Lapadula got the starting nod once again in place of the ailing star striker Carlos Bacca. With Milan reeling and desperate for the breakthrough, the former Pescara bomber found one for the Rossoneri.
Here is what Lapadula had to say:
“We weren’t able to get the advantage, but when you have a group like this you can get great results. I dedicate the goal and the victory to Chapecoense. This will remain always in our memory.”
AC Milan continue their Serie A campaign next Monday when they take on fellow Champions League contender Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
