Over the last few days, Pippo Inzaghi’s Milan are working hard on the transfer window in order to bring in reinforcements to reach third place.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are looking at potential opportunities in midfield. As of right now it seems likely that Riccardo Saponara will be on his way out. The Rossoneri are currently negotiating with Empoli and Sassuolo. Now it’s up to the player to decide which of the two teams he will go to. Should Saponara leave Milan in January, Liverpool’s Suso would then come in. In defense, Milan are waiting on Mattia De Sciglio’s condition after he went down injured recently. If the young full back is expected to be out for longer than a month, the Milan Channel reports that Milan will target a defender. Another player who may be on his way out of the club is Michael Essien despite the fact that nothing concrete is on the table as of yet. In attack, Giampaolo Pazzini has been confirmed for the foreseeable future meaning the arrival of Roma striker Mattia Destro has been excluded. Pippo Inzaghi’s side will also evaluate the situation of French winger M’Baye Niang until the end of the transfer window.
