Milan’s transfer market is starting to build up, both coming and going.
One of the hottest names right now is Carlos Bacca, who could be the first to leave Milanello to open the floodgates for new signings. West Ham have been one of the teams rumoured to be interested in the Colombian striker, as a matter of fact, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com, the Milan board has given Bacca until Friday to decide to leave for the Premier League.
Di Marzio also stated that Bacca hopes to go to Spain, and for that reason he will until Friday to make his decision. In case the Colombian were to leave Milan, the Rossoneri have identified Chelsea’s Diego Costa as his replacement, they should hear back from the Blues tomorrow.
Once Bacca is sold, Milan will begin bringing in new players.
The first choice is Mateo Musacchio, who the Rossoneri have been pursuing for the past few weeks. Musacchio is not the only player on their shortlist, these next days are fundamental for the signing of Jose Sosa, who via social media has stated that he wants to leave Turkey, but Besiktas’ board has countered stating they have no intention of selling him. Realistically the Turkish club is looking for a more lucrative offer compared to Milan’s first offer of 4 million euro a week ago. Sosa has continued to push for a departure and has even scheduled a face to face meeting with the president of the club.
The stove is hot, now what remains to be seen is what Milan does with it.
