The former Fiorentina coach is waiting on heavy financial reinforcements.
During today’s Milan-Udinese pre-match press conference, Milan coach Vincenzo Montella spoke about the transfer market amidst the new Chinese ownership takeover.
“The summer market has just closed its doors a few days ago and I won’t spend energy thinking about the possibilities in January or any other market for that matter. Perhaps during the closing days of a market I’ll make some comments, but, for now, I’m thinking in the present. I’m going to work with the players I have and I’m going to play the players who I have the most confidence in,” remarked the tactician.
AC Milan was just bought for ~$820 million by big spending Chinese investors. Naturally, everyone, including Montella, will be thinking about the upcoming transfer market under the new, money splashing ownership.
