Milan are currently lacking depth in their midfield and La Nazione are reporting that the club are preparing to table a formal offer for Milan Badelj.
Over the international break, Italian international Riccardo Montolivo picked up an injury that will see him sidelined for up to 6 months and, having already lost summer signing Mati Fernandez to injury earlier in the season, AC Milan are keen to add a midfielder to their squad.
The club, who are expecting an increased transfer budget once they are taken over by Chinese investors, are reportedly keen on signing Milan Badelj from Vincenzo Montella’s former side Fiorentina.
The Croatian has been linked to the rossoneri for a while now, and if these reports are correct, Milan’s hierarchy are ready to present their first formal offer for the player to the tuscan club this January.
Injuries in midfield have put Milan Badelj back on AC Milan’s radar.
