Adriano Galliani and Pippo Inzaghi both have realized that Milan’s attack must be renovated. Reportedly, the duo are interested in Stefano Okaka, who scored on his international debut for the Azzurri. Sampdoria’s president, Ferrero, has already spoken to Milan about the striker, and the possible swap for Giampaolo Pazzini. It is also rumored that Sampdoria might look to replace the Italian with Antonio Cassano. Of course, this would mean that Cassano would be reunited with Pazzini, which was one of the best strike forces in Italy before the two moved to Milano, one for Inter and the other for Milan.
However, Milan must first deal with Sinisa Mihajlovic, who has a great admiration for Okaka, visible in the fact that he is the most used player among all of his attackers. Okaka however, has an expiring contract in 2016, and Carlo Osti, the CEO of Sampdoria has stated he won’t renew it. Many teams are following him, especially from the Premier League and the Bundesliga, which shows why Milan is interested in him before these teams have a chance at him. Another aspect that will depend on if the player will arrive is the squad position of AC Milan.
