The AC Milan midfielder is set to join Genoa CFC until the end of the campaign.
As the Rossoblu continue their hunt for a midfielder, it appears they’ve put Locatelli at the top of the list.
The young midfielder is in need of playing time and that has become increasingly limited at the Rossoneri. Genoa President Enrico Preziosi asked for him on a dry-loan and is currently awaiting Milan’s response. Locatelli has played in 19 matches this season, averaging only 46 minutes an appearance.
If the deal doesn’t go through, Genoa are monitoring Torino’s Afryie Acquah and Panathinaikos midfielder Oscar Hiljemark.
For the defense, the Grifoni are eyeing up Nehuén Paz from Newell’s Old Boys in Argentina.
