The Gunners are heading into a cauldron on Thursday evening as the Rossoneri faithful have packed the historic San Siro to the rafters.
Remember when people used to make fun of the Europa League? Not so much anymore. AC Milan vs Arsenal should be a round of 16 clash in the Champions, but for now will have to settle for the Europa League.
According to Giuseppe Di Stefano of Sky Sport 24, it will be “a night to remember” as the Europa League against the Gunners will be a sell out.
However, only 2000 Arsenal fans have made the trip down to Milano out of the 5,500 that were available. Another clear sign of discontent from the fans towards under-fire Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who grew up in the Rossoneri’s youth system spoke about his experience in Italy and how he feels about returning tonight.
“When I was with Milan I was young, with little experience. But it was there where I became a professional and I was lucky to train with legendary players such as Maldini, Nesta, Seedorf, Kaka and Ronaldo… I learned a lot from them.”
