The AC Milan winger took a jab at ex-coach Vincenzo Montella, who was sacked earlier this season.
Despite scoring a goal that’s a strong candidate for goal of the season, Milan failed to take home all three points against Udinese.
Speaking to Sky Sport, Suso described to reporters what went through his mind as he scored the Rossoneri’s lone goal of the afternoon.
“I just took the shot, I saw the ball where it was and just tried to kick it. It was a beautiful goal. Was it my best at Milan? Maybe yes, but I also liked the one I scored against Napoli.
“Gattuso? I’m very happy with him, I think that now you see how things are working much better, on the field we’re a different team.
“But, even if I don’t score we’re winning games.
“Does he work us too hard? No, I train better like this. Also at Genoa with then head coach Gasperini, the methodology was very similar and I liked it a lot.
“How does Inter get out of the crisis they are in? I always look at it like this, in football things change very quickly and we can’t look at anybody else, just ourselves and continue like this.”
