Milan star Suso believes that Arsenal could crumble under the pressure in tomorrow’s Europa League Round of 16 second-leg.
Last week’s first-leg ended in a 2-0 victory for Arsenal at the San Siro, so they are huge favourites to progress through to the Europa League Quarter-Finals over Milan.
Suso spoke in a Press Conference alongside the Rossoneri Manager Gennaro Gattuso earlier today.
‘It didn’t go well at San Siro, but we have to try, it’ll be an entertaining game, because we have nothing to lose and must continue improving. We mustn’t care how Arsenal play, we just have to focus on ourselves.
“If we score a goal in the first half, that’ll be much better, because it can re-open the tie. We have to step on to the field without anxiety or feeling hasty to score a goal, because otherwise we’ll leave too many gaps for their rapid counter-attacks.
“We are playing against a great side in a lovely stadium, but it was more difficult personally for me to prepare against Genoa on Sunday and we did well there. If we play as a team tomorrow, I am sure we can have our chances”.
Suso previously played for Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Liverpool as a youngster but the Spanish International never really broke into the first team at Anfield.
“Arsenal are not having their best period, but they have a fine Coach and players. If they focus, then they can improve. I was surprised to a degree, but not really”.
