Genoa have set their sights on Milan winger M’baye Niang in the January transfer window given their injuries in attack.
Today, many reports indicated that Genoa’s transfer window would kick off with the sell of midfielder Stefano Sturaro to Juventus. Now, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have shifted their attention to reinforcing their attack given Diego Perotti and Alessandro Matri’s injuries. The latest name to be linked with the Italian club is Milan’s M’baye Niang.
According to Sky Sport, Milan winger Niang is close to joining Serie A side Genoa shortly. At the moment, the Frenchman is struggling to get regular minutes and I grifoni are willing to offer him this. Both Milan and Genoa are currently discussing the possibility of a deal with each other. In the coming days, Genoa president Enrico Preziosi will work really hard in order to bring the player to his side.
The 20 year old has only featured for 87 minutes all season for Milan in 5 appearances. Niang is yet to register a goal or an assist on the season.
