Milan Defender Alessio Romagnoli is a transfer target for Antonio Conte’s Chelsea this summer.
Following a number of impressive performances for the Rossoneri this season, Romagnoli is a wanted man for many of Europe’s big clubs this summer and if Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League he could be sold to avoid Financial Fair Play Sanctions.
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have expressed interest in Romagnoli in the past and it is believed that if Conte remains as Chelsea’s Manager for next season he will attempt to bring the Italian International to Stamford Bridge.
According to Leggo, Conte has sent scouts to observe Romagnoli in recent weeks as the Blues boss considers the 23 year-old to be a player with high quality.
Romagnoli has been in fine form Milan of late as the defender has formed a solid partnership in the centre of the defence alongside Club Captain Leonardo Bonucci and the two have contributed to the Rossoneri keeping an impressive 9 clean sheets in their 13 game unbeaten run in all competitions.
The 23 year-old has appeared for Milan 32 times this season and has scored 3 goals in all competitions.
