Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik spoke at the presentation of the 2017 calendar and updated his injury status.
While there are numerous reports that have been coming out regarding his recovery time, Milik finally spoke. He told reporters:
“The clash against Real Madrid is obviously another reason and motivation to try and return as quickly as possible. After I saw the draw, my desire to recover increased, I hope to make it on the pitch for January or February. The team is still playing really good and are performing positively. I hope they continue doing their best. My knee is feeling good, after two months I feel good. I’m training again and started running. The medical team will decide when I will return. I have to wait three months for the ligament to completely heal. After the next visit with Dr. Mariani, we’ll see. I’d like to thank all the Napoli fans for the messages and good wishes as well as the warmth they have shown me after my injury.”
