Mario Balotelli might be an interesting character, but his agent, Mino Raiola, might even have a more wacky personality.
He spoke about his clients and their future, especially the Italian striker, who recently moved to Liverpool.
Raiola begins: “Could he return to Inter? No. Not because Roberto Mancini is the new coach, but for reasons that aren’t worth talking about. He wouldn’t go to Napoli either. Mario doesn’t want to return to Italy.”
He continued: “He will be in the Premier League for now, he hasn’t scored, but he is working hard for that moment which will come eventually. He is doing his job and hopefully this injury will be resolved as soon as possible. He has a great relationship with his teammates.”
Raiola began speaking about the rumors about the Nazionale, in which Balotelli faked an injury: “It’s not true at all, he has a great relationship with Conte. He agrees with Mario, saying if a player can perform well, he can do good things for the national team. People always invent scenarios involving Mario.”
Raiola then switched clients, and began talking about Juventus’ midfielder Paul Pogba. “He is a star, and Juventus can keep him, as they have improved greatly. It might be difficult for Serie A to retain talent, but Juventus is an exception. He is a great professional, I see him having the same characteristics as Ibrahimovic and Nedved, who have mental and physical strength, talent and would sacrifice. He will win more than one Ballon D’or. Juve refused two big offers for the midfielder, who is priceless. He is the most expensive player in the world right now. However, Juve fans should not worry because we have a great relationship.”
He quickly commented on Zlatan Ibrahimovic: “I can’t rule out any moves for Zlatan, not even a move back to Italy. He decides from year to year, and he likes the project in Paris.”
Speaking of another future champion, Raiola spoke about Ricardo Kishna of Ajax: “He is on the same level as Pogba, he scores goals, he is talented and complete. He is physical and is affordable for Italian sides. Italian squads need to grow players and buy young rather than focus on people who are nearing retirement. One must decide whether or not to look at those who are nearing the end of careers rather than focus on those who are young and have room for improvement. I believe that the entire league should get more as a whole, not just giving all the money to one or two teams.”
Yes, Mino Raiola might be an interesting character, but he certainly knows his way around the business world of the beautiful game.
His clients include Mario Balotelli, Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic among many other superstars.
