The super agent has recently come out and expressed his opinions on two players he knows very well, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli.
Raiola has been both player’s agents for a very long time now, therefore it is only right to think he knows both players best out of anyone in football. In an interview with El Partidazo de Cope, Raiola starts off by saying:
“If Mario had the head that Zlatan does, he’d be one of the best in the world.”
It always comes down to Mario Balotelli’s attitude when speaking of his talent, and Raiola is the first to admit that Mario has a problem when it comes to this. Raiola also adds more fuel to the fire by stating:
“Ibrahimovic is way more of a perfectionist than Mario.”
In very little words, Raiola makes a big statement to Balotelli. In a time where not only Nice, but most importantly the Italian national team, can use his undeniable talent. Mario has shown that when he is up for it, he can be a world-beater, but getting “up for it” seems to be a chronic problem for Mario.
Raiola also speaks about another player he represents, Gianluigi Donnarumma:
“If he continues to grow in this way, he won’t have to do too much to be the best in the world one day.”
Very positive words on the extraordinary 17-year-old Italian shot-stopper. It is undeniably a very delicate time for Gigio Donnarumma, coming off a stellar season and being so young at the same time, it will be tough to maintain his magnificent form. With the words from Raiola, it will make it that much easier to keep his mind at ease and focus solely on football.
Mino Raiola also extinguishes the fire to reported links of Donnarumma-Real Madrid:
“Real Madrid is not interested in Donnarumma.”
