With 15 goals in 14 games, it’s fair to say that Juventus youngster Moise Bioty Kean is causing quite a stir in youth football at the minute.
The 15 year old is tearing it up in the Juventus U17s, averaging a goal every 60 minutes. He has since been moved up to the U19 side and he is starting to turn heads all over Europe, with Manchester United heavily linked with the striker.
Having originated from Africa, having a cheeky swagger and a physical presence beyond his years (he’s 1.82m), the youngster has been immediately likened to AC Milan’s Mario Balotelli, but without the poor temperament.
“Apart from doing the stupid things, I really Balotelli him as a player,” says Kean.
“My roots are in the Ivory Coast, and I never forget it. But I have not yet had the opportunity to go there: I was born in Vercelli, and brought up in Asti”.
Kean has already started moving up the age groups for the Azzurri as well. He made is debut for the U15s in March last year (6 games, 2 goals), before progressing to the U16s in October (4,3) and then the U17s in December (2,1).
He will turn 16 next month and it goes without saying that Juve will offer him a professional contract. However clubs around Europe may attempt to lure the forward with Manchester City and Real Madrid also rumoured to be interested in the forward.
