AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella spoke to Premium Sports following his sides fourth straight home victory.

Montella on Milan’s performance:

“I think that the match today was played well at times, the victory is deserved. Pescara also played very well today. This victory is lived with joy, these points are just as valuable as those earned against Juve. We had chances to close the match, merit to Pescara. I enjoyed our team play especially after the first half hour.”

Montella’s thoughts on striker Carlos Bacca looking distraught after being substituted:

“No I did not notice, I’ve seen worse, we’ll see if he has something to say. On my part there is no problem I make my choices for the good of the team. I have to congratulate Luiz Adriano who entered with great interest and made us go up a little more. Bacca did his job, he could have made better use of some occasions.”

Montella’s Milan side head to Palermo next Sunday as they look to remain in the top three.
