Chelsea winger Charly Musonda has agreed to a loan deal to the giallorossi but Antonio Conte has insisted he wants to see Musonda train for an additional two weeks before letting him leave.
Having returned to his parent club in December after a failed loan spell at Real Betis in La Liga, the Belgian looks to on his way to another loan spell, this time to the capital club of Serie A. With Mohammed Salah participating in the African cup, Roma have been looking to add depth to their width attackers in the side.
Musonda has never made a senior squad appearance for the blues and Roma sees an opportunity for him to get some first team football. However, following his return to Chelsea, manager Antonio Conte has requested the club to keep Musonda around for another two weeks in order to see if he fits into his future plans with the club.
