Napoli is still working hard to acquire Antonio Candreva’s signature
It’s reported that the two parties are about €1 million apart, as a deal could be struck soon. Napoli have Juventus’ Roberto Pereyra as a back-up deal, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
A major snag for Napoli this summer has been overcoming the imaging rights for players, which has apparently cost them Axel Witsel as well.
With the Giaccherini deal coming to a close tomorrow for Napoli, they still want to add to their attack. Antonio Candreva is still currently the main choice for the Partenopei as the club is very close to meeting the player and Lazio’s demands.
There will be a brand new attack in Naples next season for Maurizio Sarri. If Candreva signs, however, a lot of doubt will be cast over the futures of Manolo Gabbiadini and Jose Callejon.
Napoli finished second in Serie A last season and directly qualified to the UEFA Champions League.
