Napoli are looking to Monaco’s Fabinho after reportedly being beaten to the chase by Atletico Madrid for Sime Vrsaljko.
After seemingly being front-runners in the race to acquire Sime Vrsaljko from Sassuolo, Napoli have been linked to Monaco right-back Fabinho by Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio. Apparently, Fabinho has already given the green light to Napoli for a potential move to the San Paolo this summer.
As per Sky Italia, there could be a meeting between the two clubs as early as this week to potentially finalize a deal that would see Fabinho make his move to the partenopei. The Monaco right-back racked up 3,510 minutes with the French club this season, while also recording 8 goals and 4 assists. The 22-year old wing back would be a great addition to a Napoli side set to challenge for the coveted scudetto title next season.
