The Partenopei are in total market mode as the 13th day comes to a close.
Napoli are continuing their discussions with Udinese in their pursuit of Switzerland international right-back Silvan Widmer.
The player enjoyed a productive 15/16 campaign and despite interest from teams outside of Italy, the player seems to be heading towards the San Paolo. The transfer seemed to initially rest on the transfer of his counter-part Zielinski – who has yet to decide whether he is heading towards AC Milan or Liverpool.
But Tuttomercato claims that the Widmer transfer could happen regardless of what occurs with the Polish International and could be completed at around the same time.
Another player connected to Napoli is Croatian International Marko Rog. The play-maker plies his trade with Dinamo Zagreb, who possess Champions League experience is valued in the region of 10 million euros.
In addition to Rog, the club is continually being linked to a number of quality players to sore up their squad for the upcoming season which includes both Serie A and the Champions League. These includes Porto’s Herrera (who seems to be resisting the transfer), Candreva and Pereyra. The transfer surrounding Witsel is still somewhat in the air.
