Napoli are seemingly interested in bringing Pezzella back to Campania.
With Juan Zuniga departed and Faouzi Ghoulam out injured, the Partenopei are in need of bringing in a left back reinforcement.
Enter Giuseppe Pezzella, the ex-Palermo left back who saw significant playing time in his debut Serie A season in 2016/17. Pezzella played a major role in Italy’s Under 20 World Cup campaign in Korea, alongside talents such as Nicolo Barella, Andrea Favilli, Luca Vido and Riccardo Orsolini.
He then moved to Udinese where things have not gone according to plan, as he has not played since October for the revitalized Friuliani under Oddo.
Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo, according to Naples based newspaper Il Mattino, has set a pricetag of €15 million, which is a bit higher than what Napoli values the 20-year-old.
