The Partneopei tactician spoke to the press on the eve of his side’s clash with Pescara.

“Pescara is a team that gave us difficulty in the first leg. We remember how much that happened in the return, we have to confront these adversaries with a lot of attention and humility. They haven’t just given us problems, but many other squads as well, just look at the games against Milan and Roma.

“Pescara is certainly a side that deserves much more than they have. They have a great training center and they also give problems to whoever they face.

“Pavoletti? He had a big chance [against Spezia], he is moving well in the attacking area. He doesn’t yet have a strong leg to play as a starter, it’s not a coincidence that he made a few technical errors because he doesn’t have solidity in his legs. He needs to get into shape, he’s one of those players that needs to be in condition, we won’t give him too much responsibility yet.

“He’s coming off a long injury and has participated in a few training sessions and played 10-15 minutes in the Coppa. He’s not ready yet to start.

“Do I expect any more signings in the transfer window? Santa Claus and the Befana are gone, so I don’t expect s*** from anybody!”
