First Guidolin, now Paloschi. The Welsh side continues to Italianize itself.
Swansea City completed the signing of 26 year old Italian striker Alberto Paloschi from Chievo Verona. The AC Milan youth-product will get his chance to shine in the Barclays Premier League with one of Italy’s finest tacticians, Francesco Guidolin.
The club today released an official statement addressing the move.
““Swansea City have completed the signing of Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.The 26-year-old, who will wear the number nine shirt, has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at the Liberty Stadium.He becomes the club’s first senior arrival of the January transfer window and will link up with Head Coach Francesco Guidolin, who he worked with during his time at Parma.Paloschi began his career with Italian giants AC Milan, making his senior debut in February 2008 under then-manager Carlo Ancelotti.”
