Roma have officially finalized the signing of the ex-Genoa winger and he will link up with Spalletti’s squad immediately.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, after a long wait and multiple discussions throughout the month, Roma have completed the signing of Diego Perotti from Genoa on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy. The Giallorossi made the announcement via their official website:
”The club announces that it has signed off, with Genoa CFC, on a temporary loan deal ending June 30th 2017 for the rights to Diego Perotti, at a cost of €1 million. The deal includes an option to make the transfer permanent for a fee of €9 million as of the 2017-18 campaign, which will be triggered by certain performance-related clause.”
Perotti joins El Shaarawy as the newest additions to Roma’s attacking core and should be a vital piece in the club’s attempt at re-entering the Scudetto and Champions League spot race.
