Mauro Icardi was split 50/50 between Sampdoria and Inter. In the past hours it was a given that the 50% percent owned by Sampdoria would be bought out by the Nerazzurri. Now it’s official, Inter communicated as such with this statement: “Mauro Icardi is now exclusively an Inter player, and U.S. Sampdoria have communicated to have reached an agreement on the co-ownership of the player in favour of Inter F.C.”
The buy out clause was rumored at €6.5 million to be paid over the course of two years. Also, €1.5 million could be added depending on bonuses and appearances.
