Catania has already registered the contract of Francesco Lodi, who will come back to his former team after six almost disastrous months away. Lodi has only played 9 times and scored twice with Genoa, and never look like he fit their module.
The midfielder is a Catania player again, as he has joined the team on loan until June, in the hopes that he could help the Sicilians avoid relegation. He is co-owned between Etnei and Genoa, as is Panagiotis Tachtsidis, who will probably also leave on loan, considering he was not called for the last match against Roma for a technical decision.
Lodi still owns a house in Sicily and has many friends there and was seen around during the Christmas holidays. In the three years Lodi spent with Catania, he collected 90 appearances and scored 20 goals in all competitions.
