Simone Verdi will try his luck in Spain as Liga Adelante side Eibar have announced the arrival of the forward on a loan deal.

As per the league and federation regulations, Milan need to have a squad of 25 players (although U21 players do not count) and so they have sent another player away.

Last season Verdi plied his trade with Empoli FC, making a total of 26 appearances and scoring one goal in his maiden Serie A season. In addition, Verdi played for the Italy U-21 in this summer’s European Championship.

Verdi was co-owned between Milan and Torino until this summer when the Rossoneri decided to spend roughly €450k to buy his entire ownership but the player – who is primarily a winger – has no room in Sinisa Mihajlovic’s team.

Spanish side Eibar have announced today (Sunday) the signing of Verdi, 23, on loan. Milannews.it reports that Eibar have a buy-out option. He has already trained with his new teammates and he will presented to the press on Monday
