Torino have signed yet another Roma winger in Adem Ljajic.
Following a long negotiation process, Torino have announced that they have signed Serbian winger Adem Ljajic from Roma for a fee of €8.5m, which could rise to €9m should the player and club meet performance-based clauses.
This is following the Serbian’s less than stellar season at Inter where he made 25 appearances and scored a disappointing 3 goals.
Since his transfer from Fiorentina to Roma, Ljajic has left much to be desired, with lackluster performances in many big matches and a large ego. In an interview he stated that he was very happy to be in Turin, because the team really wanted him.
Supporters of Ljajic hope that arrival in a new team will give the player new energy and motivation, because one thing is for certain, when Adem Ljajic is on form, he is one of the most formidable players in Serie A.
Torino have signed another proficient winger in their bid to get into Europe. Torino are building a strong team, and with strong management can go a long way. The Granata tifosi have a lot to look forward to in the coming season.
