One of Serie B’s brightest young talents is continuing to stir up conversations amongst many Serie A clubs.
Cesena’s midfield gem Stefano Sensi has been on the radar of Italy’s top clubs for the last few months.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Palermo’s Maurizio Zamparini absolutely wants to close a deal for the midfielder as soon as possible as Cesena will likely be anticipating many others offers for Sensi. Frequent calls have gone on between Palermo and Cesena with the Sicilian club feeling confident they could secure the ‘New Verratti’.
The 20 year-old Sensi spent the last two seasons on loan to Lega Pro side San Marino prior to rejoining Cesena. He has appeared in 18 of Cesena’s 21 games so far this season, scoring 3 goals and picking up 5 yellow cards.
