Parma player, Cristian Rodriguez, posted to his Twitter account to announce his departure from the club.
Multiple reports suggest that Rodriguez has signed a deal with Brazilian club, Gremio. He joined Parma on loan from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, but due to the financial situations Parma has faced recently, Rodriguez has terminated his contract.
His tweet reads:
“Fans of Parma, with these words I speak, I give you farewell and thank you for the affection and respect that you have shown me. Unfortunately, our experience was very short and I arrived at a complicated time for our team. I want to wish good luck to the players, the technical staff and all the employees of the Club. I hope everything will go well and that it can be solved in the best way possible. I want to clarify that my farewell is due to the fact that I need to continue to play and unfortunately my future here is not clear. FORZA Parma and thank you”
