Parma, today, have once again announced a new club President. It is the second time in barely two months that the Crociati have been sold and one wonders if this will finally bring to an end the turmoil engulfing the Ducali.
In the Last short while the club released a statement through there official website outlying the details of the new ownership structure.
“Following the shareholders’ meeting of Parma Fc and Sporting Events Spa held today at the business center of Collecchio, Parma FC announced that the club was acquired by Giampietro Manenti. Ermir Kodra has today given his resignation. The office of President will now be covered in all respects and with full powers by Giampietro Manenti. The business operations will be managed by Fiorenzo Alborghetti assisted by Pietro Leonardi.”
The statement further went on to say,
“Also today were officially convened the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting of Sport Events Spa and Parma Fc on the dates of Thursday, February 19th and Friday, February 20. At these meetings, according to the statutes, will be appointed members of the new Board of Directors with the conferment of powers. The President Manenti and his colleagues are trying to accelerate as much as possible the time to fulfill the upcoming deadlines and start the healing process of the club. Wednesday, February 11th at 14:30 in the press room Tardini stadium will be the official presentation of the new property.”
Meanwhile CalcioMercato.it are reporting that the club was sold for as little as one Euro, a quite shocking sum. However no matter the price Parma faithful hope this is finally the end of there living nightmare so far this season.
